Kamloops Arts and Crafts Club maintains a pottery studio in Heritage House in space rented from the City of Kamloops. The studio is operated in the spirit of
co-operation and mutual respect and in that spirit, we provide members with shared studio space and equipment, access to resource materials, classes and workshops, display and sales support and other pottery related activities.
The studio is equipped with wedging and working tables, slab roller, large and a small extruder, a number of electric wheels and electric top loading kilns.
The glaze area is equipped with all the sundry equipment necessary for preparation and application of slips and glazes.
Members have access to an extensive library of pottery books, magazines and videos.
Pottery classes are open to residents of Kamloops and the surrounding area. As well as wheel throwing classes, we also offer handbuilding classes and an afternoon
class for the senior group.
Use of the studio is restricted to member potters who have taken a recent class at Kamloops Arts & Crafts Club and the studio may not be used to create pieces for sale at other than KACC sponsored sales and shows.
